DOT Physical - A DOT exam is a simple three-step process that involves taking your medical history, performing the physical exam, and filling out the necessary papaerwork. The DOT physical is used to renew your CDL medical card.

Step 1: Medical History - Your genal health and family health backround. You will fill out a brief, one-page medical history detailing past illnesses or diseases that may run in your family and your overall health.

Step 2: Examination - Once your medical history has been completed, the information will be reviewed and a unrinalysis will be performed. Next, the exam will be performed, which will include the following:

• Height measurement
• Weight
• Blood pressure & Pulse
• Range of motion testing
• Exam of eyes and ears
• Check your breathing

Step 3: Finishing the paperwork - The final step is the paperwork. Once your medical history and exam are finished, the office will fill out all of the paperwork to process your DOT exam. When you are finished, you will get a copy of the exam to take with you when you get your CDL and a second copy to give to your company. We will also keep a scanned copy of the exam at the office. Once the paperwork has been processed, you will get your own DOT medical card to keep with you at all times when you are driving.
